Last week in Hurumanu 1 (Ngā Tāngata) we have been looking into who our heroes were. We brainstormed about 4 heroes in our lives and wrote down traits and amazing things about them. Then we chose one of our heroes and wrote a paragraph about our hero.
I know that members of our class have amazing heroes.

I am a new teacher at Hornby High School and want to welcome all to my blog space. It has been a fabulous first week back for 2021 and I have been excited to meet all of my fabulous students. A little about me: I am originally from Rangiora but have travelled and lived throughout New Zealand. I first started teaching in Masterton (North of Wellington) and then returned home to Christchurch to be closer to my whānau. I am absolutely excited to be teaching at Hornby High School and am feeling very welcomed by staff and students.
